We are seeking a QC Test Technician I to support quality control testing and screening operations in a fast-paced electronics manufacturing environment. This hands-on role is responsible for performing electrical and environmental testing on sensitive electronic assemblies, documenting results, troubleshooting test setups, and ensuring products meet quality and customer specifications. The position reports to the QC Supervisor and Test & Screening Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform manual and automated electrical and environmental testing on electronic assemblies.
- Load and unload miniature electronic components onto test fixtures and test cards.
- Connect and disconnect sensitive electronics from test equipment safely.
- Operate electronic test equipment including oscilloscopes, multimeters, network analyzers, and phase noise testers.
- Load and unload test fixtures into ovens and environmental chambers.
- Record, analyze, and maintain accurate test data and documentation.
- Troubleshoot test setups and identify anomalies during testing.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and testing procedures.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and production throughput.
Qualifications
- U.S. Person as defined by EAR Part 772 and ITAR 120.15.
- High School Diploma/GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electronics or a related technical field preferred.
- Strong manual dexterity and experience using precision hand tools.
- Basic computer proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and Adobe Acrobat.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Experience handling PCB or hybrid electronic assemblies.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and work between multiple lab areas.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience testing electronic products in a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, DMMs, LCR meters, and network analyzers.
- Experience with Keysight VEE, LabVIEW, or similar test software.
- Knowledge of statistical data analysis techniques.
- J-STD-001 and/or IPC-A-610 certifications are a plus.
