Job Summary: As a Meyer's RV RV Dealership Sales Associate, you will play a vital role in driving sales and providing exceptional customer service to our clients. You will assist customers in finding the perfect RV to meet their needs, guiding them through the sales process from initial inquiry to final purchase. This position requires excellent communication skills, product knowledge, and a customer-focused mindset to ensure a positive buying experience.


Dealership Atmosphere: Our dealership has a group of eight highly motivated individuals who work well together. We strive to create the best consumer experience, but we also want to be as successful as possible in our craft. As part of our effort to ensure quality in these areas, we offer weekly and monthly training sessions from the best trainers in the country.


Pay Structure:  The compensation plan for this position is 100% commission-based, enabling the salesperson to potentially earn well beyond $100,000. It's designed to reward strong performance with higher commissions, and there's no cap on the potential earnings. 


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Engagement: Greet customers warmly, actively listen to their needs, and provide expert guidance on RV options, features, and benefits.
  2. Product Presentation: Showcase RV units to customers, highlighting key features, specifications, and customization options to match their preferences.
  3. Sales Process Management: Manage the sales process from initial contact to closing the deal, including test drives, price negotiation, financing options, and paperwork.
  4. Follow-Up: Maintain contact with customers throughout the sales process and after the sale to ensure satisfaction, address any concerns, and encourage referrals.
  5. Lead Generation: Proactively reach out to potential customers through various channels, including phone calls, emails, and in-person interactions, to generate leads and drive sales.
  6. CRM Utilization: Use dealership CRM system to track customer interactions, manage leads, and follow up on sales opportunities effectively.
  7. Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on RV models, features, industry trends, and competitive offerings to provide accurate information and recommendations to customers.
  8. Team Collaboration: Work closely with sales managers, finance managers, and other dealership staff to coordinate sales activities, resolve customer issues, and ensure a seamless buying experience.
  9. Administrative Tasks: Complete sales-related paperwork accurately and efficiently, including sales contracts, finance applications, and vehicle registration documents.
  10. Customer Service Excellence: Strive to exceed customer expectations by delivering exceptional service at every touchpoint, fostering long-term relationships and repeat business.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred).
  • Previous sales experience in automotive, RV, or retail sales is advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Enthusiastic and self-motivated with a passion for customer satisfaction and sales success.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with CRM software.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
