Work Environment

This position offers a fully remote work setting, allowing for flexibility in your schedule. As a Telehealth provider, you'll interact with clients through virtual platforms, providing mental health services that are accessible regardless of geographical barriers. You will be supported administratively by our team, including receptionist and billing services, enabling you to focus on what you do best - helping clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique needs.
  • Maintain a consistent schedule with clients, providing up to bi-weekly sessions and facilitating effective termination processes when appropriate.
  • Assess safety concerns and formulate intervention strategies in rural and virtual settings.
  • Deliver crisis intervention services as needed, ensuring timely and therapeutic responses to client emergencies.
  • Foster collaborative relationships with fellow counselors for consultation, supervision, and referral processes, enhancing client care continuity.
  • Utilize various therapeutic modalities, including EMDR and Internal Family Systems (IFS), to address trauma and related challenges effectively.
  • Document client interactions and maintain up-to-date records in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our mental health counselors work with a diverse range of clients, including adults, children, adolescents, couples, and families who have experienced various forms of trauma. You will play a critical role in helping clients navigate their healing processes, utilizing evidence-based practices that resonate with their individual experiences.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or a related field (required).
  • Master's degree in counseling, social work, or a related field (preferred).
  • Licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Oregon (preferred but not required upon hire).
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in trauma-informed care, psychological assessments, and development of treatment plans.
  • Previous work with crisis intervention and safety assessments.
  • A background in therapeutic modalities such as EMDR and IFS is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated commitment to ethical practice and client advocacy.
Compensation and Benefits
