Work Environment

This role allows counselors the flexibility to operate in a remote setting while still being part of a cohesive team in an outpatient office environment. Counselors will receive comprehensive administrative support, enabling them to concentrate on the therapeutic relationship without the burden of excessive paperwork. Our clinic offers in-house clinical supervision and consultation groups, fostering professional growth and development.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for managing a caseload of approximately 25 clients per week, providing high-quality mental health interventions, and developing individualized treatment plans that address specific client needs. Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting thorough assessments to evaluate clients' mental health states and safety concerns.
• Developing and implementing tailored treatment plans that reflect each client's unique circumstances and therapy goals.
• Facilitating regular counseling sessions to maintain ongoing therapeutic relationships and monitor client progress.
• Providing crisis intervention services as needed, ensuring clients remain safe and supported during critical moments.
• Collaborating with fellow counselors for supervision, consultation, and referrals, fostering a community of support and resource sharing.
• Maintaining comprehensive and accurate client records in adherence to HIPAA regulations.
• Engaging in professional development, including attending training opportunities and participating in consultation groups.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our organization serves a diverse client population, including adults, children, adolescents, and couples/families dealing with trauma and PTSD. Counselors will have the opportunity to work with clients who have been affected by various forms of trauma, providing them with effective, evidence-based approaches to healing such as EMDR and Internal Family Systems (IFS). A focus on trauma-informed care will be central to all counseling efforts.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, applicants must meet the following educational and professional criteria:

• A Bachelor’s degree is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
• Active license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Oregon is preferred.
• Strong understanding of trauma-informed care principles and practices.
• Experience working with trauma and PTSD populations is highly desirable.

Preferred Experience

We value candidates who possess additional skills and experiences that may enhance our ability to provide care:

• Proficient in EMDR and familiarity with treating complex PTSD and dissociation.
• Experience in working effectively in a rural setting.
• Ability to utilize technology and maintain accurate client documentation.
• A background in systems therapy or family dynamics can be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this full-time role ranges from USD 100,000 to 105,000 annually. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
