H2i - Gym Manager
As Gym Manager, you own the member experience from the first hello to long-term results. You'll grow the club's business by connecting with prospective members, deepening relationships with current ones, and getting out into the Columbia community to spread the word. You'll also lead and develop the coaching team, keep the club running smoothly, and own the numbers that drive growth. This is the job for you if you love attaining goals while helping others do the same.
What We Offer:
  • Guaranteed base salary plus uncapped commission on memberships and personal training sold -- large training packages are common here
  • Performance bonuses tied to hitting club growth goals
  • Target first-year earnings: $50,000-$52,500

What You'll Do:
  • Drive membership growth through one-on-one sales -- qualify, inspire, and convert leads into members
  • Own the full member lifecycle: onboarding, engagement, retention, and win-backs
  • Lead, coach, and schedule the team, and build a culture members want to be part of
  • Run club operations -- reporting, KPIs (sales, retention/churn, revenue per member), cleanliness, and equipment
  • Build relationships with local businesses and the Columbia community through B2B outreach and events
  • Hit - and beat - the club's monthly revenue and growth targets
  • All other duties as assigned

What We're Looking For:
  • A few years in sales, service, or retail with a proven track record of leadership and results
  • Strong sales instincts and a desire to build a business in an entrepreneurial environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and a top-tier, member-first service approach
  • Comfort with fitness/club management software (Club OS, ClubReady, MyFitnessPal, etc. a plus)
  • Genuine passion for health, fitness, and helping people change their lives
  • CPR/AED certification a plus, or willingness to obtain

Hours
  • Monday - Thursday 10-6
  • Friday 9-4
