Job Summary
Flag Football Coach
Times: Must be available weekday afternoons and some Saturdays.
Position Summary
The Flag Football Coach will lead an elementary and/or middle school football program focused on teaching fundamental football skills, teamwork, discipline, sportsmanship, leadership, and player safety. The coach will provide age-appropriate instruction and create a positive environment where students can develop athletic skills, confidence, and character.
Essential Responsibilities
Plan and conduct age-appropriate football practices.
Teach fundamental football skills, techniques, positions, and rules.
Teach proper movement, ball-handling, passing, receiving, and defensive techniques.
Emphasize safe and age-appropriate flag football techniques..
Promote sportsmanship, respect, responsibility, and positive behavior.
Communicate professionally with students, families, teachers, and athletic administration.
Follow all school, district, league, and athletic department policies.
Serve as a positive role model for student-athletes.
Attend scheduled games and practices.
Qualifications
Previous football playing or coaching experience preferred.
Knowledge of football fundamentals, rules, and safety procedures..
Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills.
Ability to motivate and work with young athletes.
Commitment to student safety and positive youth development.
CPR/First Aid certification is required.
Background Check will be conducted.
