Job description

Rug Technician

We’re seeking a skilled, detail‑oriented Rug Cleaner with previous professional rug‑cleaning experience to join a Farmingdale based rug-cleaning company. The ideal candidate understands fiber types, stain treatments, washing techniques, and safe handling of high‑value rugs. This position is Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm, $22-25/hour.

Requirements

  • Previous rug‑cleaning experience (2-4 years)

  • Knowledge of fibers including wool, silk, synthetics, and blends

  • Carpet Cleaning Wand experience mandatory
  • Ability to lift rugs up to 50 lbs

  • Attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship
