12hr-C Shift (United States of America)The injection molding supervisor is responsible for supervising packers and injection molding machine operators on the production floor. This position plans and assigns work, implements and enforces policies & procedures, and recommends improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures and working conditions.
This position is a night shift position - 7PM to 7AMEssential Function - Roles/ResponsibilitiesHandle and operate any machinery, tools or equipment used safely while performing job duties.Ensure effective employee relations. Provide employee coaching and development. Makes employment decisions. Resolve employee issues through problem resolution.Balance quality, productivity, cost, safety and morale to achieve positive results in all areas. Work to continuously improve in all areas.Manage departmental performance measures, including visual controls and provides regular progress reports to manager.Provide leadershipPerform accident investigations.Maintain proper inventory levels.Manage department priorities.Track absenteeism and timekeeping.Communicate effectively with Plant Manager & Human Resources
  • Reasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs.
