JOB OPPORTUNITY
JOB TITLE: Instructional Aide, RSP Mild/Moderate
SITE AND LOCATION OF POSITION: Standard Middle School
TERM AND HOURS OF POSITION: 6 hours per day
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Under supervision of certificated staff, assist individuals and small groups of students with instructional tasks, assist with classroom management, record keeping, and other work as assigned. Specialized attention to any children with identified health concerns.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Two years of study at an institution of higher education, or an Associate's or higher degree, or pass a formal state or local academic assessment that demonstrates knowledge of and the ability to assist in teaching reading, writing, and mathematics (or reading, writing, and mathematics readiness).
  • CPR training

SALARY: Range 11, Step 1: $18.66 per hour (additional $0.32 per hour in lieu of benefits)
SCREENING PROCEDURES: Review of applications and personal interviews.
