Nursing Assistant
Assists in the continuity of patient care delivery within an assigned area by providing direct personal care, rehabilitative measures, and supportive services.
RSP Nursing Students/Nursing Assistants receive:
- Additional hourly pay
- Minimal work commitment
- Accessible on-line self-scheduling anywhere Internet access is available, 24 hrs day
- Additional pay differentials for working nights & weekends
- The opportunity to work in any of the Infirmary Health Systems facilities
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school graduate or GED equivalent with average reading, writing and oral communications skills
- Working knowledge of direct patient care
- Proof of: Successful completion of Nursing Assistant Program or Medical Assistant Program
- A minimum of one-year recent experience in a hospital or acute care setting
- Ability to float between units within the hospital
- Able to work a monthly commitment of 24 hours
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
- In designated areas, Certified Nursing Assistant is required
- BLS - American Heart Association
Desired Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of Nursing Assistant function
- Certified Nursing Assistant or Registered Medical Assistant
