Riverside Health is currently seeking an experienced leader to join our well‑respected trauma and surgical critical care team at Riverside Regional Medical Center (RRMC) in Newport News, Virginia. As the only Level II Trauma Center in the Peninsula Region, RRMC offers a fast‑paced, high‑acuity environment where compassionate, expert care meets collaboration and innovation.

We are looking to partner with a trauma surgeon who shares our mission of caring and thrives in a team‑oriented, high‑performance setting. We seek a physician leader who can embrace our mission of caring as wholeheartedly as we do while thriving in a high‑volume, high‑acuity setting.

Required Qualifications
  • Completion of ACGME General Surgery Residency and Surgical Critical Care Fellowship
  • Board Certification or Board Eligible
  • Demonstrated leadership experience leading surgical critical care or trauma teams, collaborative interpersonal style, and solid oral and written communication skills
  • Collaborative approach with other physicians and APPs
  • Ability to provide guidance to other medical staff
