In academic and research contexts, RRLs help provide context, support methodology, and establish a foundation for new research by highlighting what has already been explored. Reviewing RRLs ensures that researchers build upon existing knowledge and avoid duplicating work. The process involves identifying, evaluating, and synthesizing relevant literature to inform a research project.
