Job Details SERVICING PERSONNEL OFFICE/UNIT: Office of Human Resources POSITION SERIES: DS-0501 POSITION GRADE: DS-09/11/12 IF "OPEN UNTIL FILLED," FIRST SCREENING DATE: August 25, 2025 TOUR OF DUTY: To Be Determined AREA OF CONSIDERATION: Unlimited PROMOTION POTENTIAL: DS-12 NO. OF VACANCIES: One (1) or more AGENCY: Office of Tax and Revenue DURATION OF APPOINTMENT: Permanent COLLECTIVE BARGAINING UNIT: This position is in a collective bargaining unit. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: This position is located in the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO), Office of Tax and Revenue (OTR), Real Property Tax Administration (RPTA).

The incumbent performs all assigned duties in areas including: directing tax relief programs; analyzing applications; writing internal case results; and updating semi-annual real property tax accounts in the integrated tax system. Duties include, but are not limited to: planning and executing the full scope of the assignment from determining the approach, modifying or adopting procedures, interpreting results, making recommendations, preparing final reports, and presenting findings to management; conducting complex management projects and assignments related to planning, administration and execution of the real property tax relief programs; and analyzing and evaluating tax relief activities and programs. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications Two (2) years of progressive work experience performing duties related to reviewing and updating tax accounts and databases; planning, organizing, and conducting studies; analyzing problems and applications, preparing narrative reports to support findings in order to implement changes in operations, and drafting correspondence to communicate with and service customers. Specialized Experience Experience that provides the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the normal line of progression for this position.
