Role Description

Title:  Retirement Plan Services Representative

Reports to: Manager, Retirement Plan Services

Benefits:  Yes

Status:  Part Time

Date:  September 2026


Role Summary

The Retirement Plan Services Representative will support the Manager and Relationship Manager(s) of the team by providing leverage and accomplishing both project and administrative tasks. This person will also have a strong desire to provide a great experience in each client interaction. A successful candidate will:

  • Be a self-starter and be skilled at both customer service and administrative tasks
  • Have an interest in learning more about the retirement plan industry
  • Flexible schedule with the expectation that the candidate work 20-25 hours in the office weekly
  • Potential to grow into a full-time role over time


Duties and Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to:


Retirement Plan Services Representative

Provide Leverage to Retirement Plan Team

Logistics

  • Plan and Schedule on site visits or Zoom meetings with clients
  • Assist in developing content for both business development and employee education sessions
  • Celebrate client stories

Maintain Infrastructure

  • Maintain CRM, RPAG and other reporting systems to provide up to date information to retirement plan team
  • Coordinate quarterly reporting
  • Collect and organize data and reports for annual due diligence meetings using existing infrastructure
  • Generate paperwork for any changes that are needed for client’s retirement plan

Participant and Plan Sponsor Relationships

  • Be available when necessary to answer questions around client’s retirement plans
  • Assist participants and/or plan sponsors with rollover requests or other paperwork needs
  • Enhance relationships with plan sponsors by moving issues through the process to expedite a resolution
  • Conduct Enrollments with plan participants

  • Take on projects and reporting to assist with client service and business development
  • Support the RPS Team with initiatives and future growth

Utilize multiple CRM systems effectively for reporting clarity

Assist other Team members when needed

  • Help the RPS Team or Advisor team with requests
  • Assist with internal team or company projects


Qualifications

This position typically requires the following qualifications:

  • Ability to assist Manager and Relationship Manager when needed
  • Work experience that demonstrates customer service skills and/or customer service success
  • Excellent communication, listening, and relationship building skills
  • Strong project management skills – organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask and prioritize
  • A passion for caring for clients
  • Desire/ability to work successfully in a small company environment
  • Proactive, self-motivated personality
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and the ability to learn new programs


Salary and Benefits

Pay/benefits are competitive based on industry standards.

  • Hourly Rate Expected to be between $22 and $28 an hour.
