Koniag IT Systems, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking an RPA Developer with a TS/SCI security clearance to support KITS and our government customer at Langley Air Force Base, Hampton, VA. Sign on bonus availableย

TheRobotic Process Automation (RPA) Developerprovides dedicated technical support, development, and advisory services for AI and RPA integration within ACC/A589 classified environments; supports user-driven innovation challenges and in-person facilitation; ensures compliance with cybersecurity, data governance, and network-specific requirements for SIPRNet and AFSCI operations.ย Designs, prototypes, and deploys automation solutions that directly support Air Combat Command's operational mission.ย This is a hands-on development role. Write bots, test them with actual users, refine them based on operational feedback, and deliver solutions that Airmen use every day. Measured by throughput: a minimum ofthree prototypes per quarterandtwo operational transitions per quarter, working in parallel with another RPA Developer to maintain continuous delivery.

Essential Job Functions:

RPA Prototyping & Development:

  • Conduct workflow discovery interviews with ACC A589 personnel toย identifyย automation opportunitiesย 
  • Assess A589 processes for automation potential using structured intake criteria (inputs, decision points, data sources, manual workload burden)ย 
  • Design and develop RPA solutions usingUiPathandMicrosoft Power Automateon enterprise-approved platformsย 
  • Build functional prototypes within2-4 weekย cyclesthat users can test in realistic A589 mission contextsย 
  • Maintain a personal development pipeline of 2-3 concurrent use cases to sustain quarterly output targetsย

Iterative Refinement & User Validation:ย 

  • Conduct2-3 iterative refinement cycleswith A589 operational users before transitioning solutionsย 
  • Incorporate A589 user feedback to improve bot accuracy, reliability, and usabilityย 
  • Test bots acrossย appropriate classificationย levels (NIPRNet, SIPRNet, AFSCI as assigned)ย 
  • Validate solutions against real operational data and edge casesย identifiedย by usersย

Solution Transition & Sustainment:

  • Deliver complete technical documentation including architecture diagrams, configuration details, and data flow specificationsย 
  • Create tailored user training packages and operational SOPs for each transitioned workflowย 
  • DevelopGovernment sustainment plansenabling ACC A589 personnel toย maintainย and enhance solutions independentlyย 
  • Provide all source code, configuration files, and integration specifications to the Governmentย 
  • Conduct knowledge transfer sessions with Government personnel who will sustain the solutionย

Cross-Wing Scaling & Collaboration:

  • Document lessons learned and adaptation guidance for solutions that mayย benefitย other ACC wingsย 
  • Collaborate with AI/RPA ACC A589 Solutions Architect toย identifyย cross-wing scaling opportunitiesย 
  • Contribute to the enterprise solution catalog organized by mission functionย 
  • Support mobile training teams during wing visits toย demonstrateย transitioned RPA capabilitiesย

  • Classified Facilities:ย Regular work in Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs) and secure spaces

  • 3+ yearsof hands-on RPA solution development and deployment experienceย 
  • Provenย track recordย delivering operational RPA bots from discovery through production deploymentย 
  • Experience with iterative development methodologies and user-centered designย 
  • Federal government or DoD RPA experience strongly preferredย

Certifications (Required):
