RP is seeking an experienced professional to help meet and exceed customer needs as a Senior Loan Specialist. 

 Responsibilities:

  • Process complex loan servicing and liquidation actions through risk analysis and historical data evaluation
  • Conduct financial analysis on distressed loans and determine best course of action to maximize recovery
  • Perform portfolio analysis to determine compliance with organizational procedures, applicable laws, and regulations
  • Coordinate and track multiple projects involving loan collateral disposition
  • Prepare and present reports to senior management; and
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in loan servicing, loan processing or financial operations
  • Experience in major enterprise operating environment
  • Broad knowledge of information operating systems
  • Proficiency with MS Office tools
  • The ability to work for any US employer without requiring sponsorship
  • Knowledge in supporting budgeting and capital planning

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree and/or certifications preferred
  • Knowledge of principles, practices and functions related to capital access for American small businesses
  • Experience in developing operating policies, procedures and guidelines
  • Demonstrated initiative in devising new plans for improving business processes and program operations
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
