Job description

Global Land Partners, LLC is actively seeking seeking qualified Right of Way (ROW) Agents in the Salt Lake City, UT area.  This is an opportunity to play a key role in the acquisition of pipeline and surface easements. If you have a minimum of three years’ experience in easement acquisition and a strong commitment to professionalism, we would love to hear from you. This role is an essential part of our operations, and we are looking for someone who excels in communication, problem-solving, and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

As a ROW Agent, you will be the face of Global Land Partners - engaging with landowners, attorneys, survey crews, clients, and other key stakeholders to ensure successful execution. Having an ability to manage relationships and communicate effectively while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism is key to driving success of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Landowner Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact with landowners throughout the acquisition process. Communicate the details of the project clearly and professionally, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
  • Contract Acquisition: Assist in the negotiation and acquisition of easement agreements, including pipeline, surface, and road access easements, working with multiple landowners across various properties.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Accurately document all communications and agreements with landowners and other parties. Maintain detailed records of project milestones and progress.
  • Collaboration with Project Teams: Liaise with the Project Manager to provide timely updates on the status of acquisitions and ensure project deadlines are met. Coordinate with survey crews and contractors to keep all parties aligned.
  • Legal Compliance: Communicate legal terms and documentation requirements to landowners in a clear and understandable manner, ensuring compliance with all client standards.

Education & Knowledge Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in land acquisition, with a background in one or more of the following industries: Pipeline Acquisition, Department of Transportation, Public Utility, Oil & Gas, or Real Estate.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain legal terms and project details in simple, clear language for landowners and stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities, with experience managing multiple projects and stakeholders at once.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with industry-specific software for document management and communication.
  • Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges as they arise.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy in documentation and contract execution.
  • Team-oriented, with a collaborative approach to working with project managers, survey teams, contractors, and landowners.
  • SITLA, BLM, and BIA experience is a plus.
