What is a row agent?

Row Agents are professionals who typically oversee specific sections or 'rows' within large-scale agricultural operations, such as farms, greenhouses, or vineyards. Their main responsibilities include monitoring the health of crops, ensuring proper cultivation techniques, and reporting any issues such as pests or diseases. Row Agents may also supervise workers, coordinate planting or harvesting schedules, and help implement best practices for crop management. Their work is vital to ensuring high yields and quality produce. The role requires knowledge of agriculture, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.

How does a row agent typically collaborate with other departments during daily operations?

A Row Agent works closely with logistics, inventory management, and quality control teams to ensure smooth movement and tracking of goods or materials. Daily, they may coordinate with warehouse staff to verify shipments, address discrepancies, and update records. This collaborative approach helps maintain efficiency and accuracy throughout the supply chain.
