Job description

Position Summary:

The Shipping & Routing Coordinator is responsible for managing shipping operations, routing compliance, and logistics coordination for major retail customers. This role ensures accurate shipment planning, EDI compliance, and timely delivery while supporting warehouse and logistics operations.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate shipping and routing activities for major retail customers
  • Ensure compliance with retailer routing guides and shipping requirements
  • Manage and monitor EDI processes and shipment documentation
  • Plan shipments, calculate volumes, and prepare shipping paperwork
  • Coordinate with warehouse, carriers, and internal teams to ensure on-time deliveries
  • Troubleshoot routing and shipment issues as they arise
  • Train and support team members within logistics and warehouse operations
  • Maintain accurate records and shipping documentation

Job Requirements:
  • Proven experience shipping to major retailers such as Target, Walmart, JCPenney, and Kohl's (highly preferred)
  • Strong understanding of EDI processes and retail routing compliance
  • Experience with shipment planning, volume calculations, and shipping documentation
  • Leadership or training experience within a logistics or warehouse environment preferred
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
