Job description

Overview of the Role: 
Lift Off Distribution is looking for a driven and dependable Route Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will build lasting relationships with retail customers while managing your own established route, ensuring product availability, great merchandising, and top-tier service.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Sales

  • Sell and deliver products to customers using a company-provided vehicle over an established route
  • Work with customers to grow sales through secondary placements including coolers, displays, and rack
  • Issue or obtain customer signatures on receipts for pickup or delivery
  • Collect payments including cash, checks, and money orders, and record all transactions accurately

Merchandising & Customer Service

  • Merchandise product on shelves and racks to ensure strong visibility and proper placement
  • Ensure all products are correctly priced and fully stocked across shelves, coolers, and displays
  • Communicate relevant sales programs and promotions that benefit the customer
  • Resolve customer concerns related to product and pricing in a professional manner
  • Collect empty containers and manage returns or unsold merchandise

Requirements for Position:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks.
  • Ability to lift and carry packages of varying weights, general lifting of 45 lbs. and up to 200 lbs. with a handcart.
  • Ability to bend, reach, and kneel as needed throughout the workday

Preferred:

  • Sales and delivery experience strongly preferred.

Pre-Employment Requirements for the Position Include:

  • Must pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screening.
  • Satisfactory Criminal Background check.
