Job description

Slate is a commercial cleaning company delivering quality-controlled, tech-enabled services to business clients nationwide, with a focus on premium boutique fitness studios. As an Overnight Studio Cleaner & Lead, you will play a vital role in maintaining pristine environments for our clients, ensuring their studios are ready for the next day's operations.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Deep cleaning boutique fitness studio spaces, including equipment, floors, mirrors, restrooms, lobby, and retail areas
  • Taking before and after photos at each location and uploading them via smartphone
  • Following a detailed bilingual cleaning checklist to ensure consistent quality
  • Clocking in and out at each studio using a mobile app
  • Driving between multiple studio locations on an overnight route
  • (Lead) Managing inventory of cleaning supplies, placing restocking orders, and overseeing cleaner attendance
  • (Lead) Coordinating same-night replacement coverage as needed

Requirements

Required Qualifications:
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs, stand for extended periods, and bend or kneel as needed
  • Has a reliable personal vehicle for driving between studio locations on overnight routes
  • Available to work overnight shifts Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, with start times around 11:00 PM and 12:15 AM
  • At least 18 years old
  • Proficient smartphone user able to take and upload before/after photos
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working overnight shifts independently
  • Prior commercial or janitorial cleaning experience
  • Prior lead or supervisory experience (for Lead candidates)
  • English proficiency sufficient to follow checklists and complete app/photo tasks
