DLP Staffing is currently accepting applications for the position of:
POSITION TITLE: Event Custodian
Location: Edinburg, TX
FLSA: Non-Exempt
Hire Pay: $11 an hour
Classification: Part-Time

JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a hardworking individual to provide top-quality custodial services, including cleaning event facilities and restrooms.
JOB SUMMARY:
  • Performs general, routine custodial duties, including dust mopping, running a floor scrubber, and cleaning restrooms.
  • Replenish all toiletries, soap, and paper products.
  • Performs routine maintenance of custodial equipment and supplies.
  • Empties trash receptacles, disposes trash into compactors and/or dumpsters, and bags trash for proper disposal.
  • Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies.
  • Performs cleaning functions specific to the assigned facility requirements.
  • Touch up restrooms and floors as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to follow instructions.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED:
  • Receives supervision from the Event Supervisor.
  • Must complete jobs without constant supervision.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
The principal duties of this position are performed in an outdoor environment.

ALCOHOL AND DRUG TESTING POLICY:
DLP Staffing has a Drug Free Workplace Policy that includes Post-Accident Testing, Random Testing, and/or Reasonable Suspicion Testing.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must pass a background check.
  • Must be available 7 days a week.
