Job Summary
Jones Welding & Industrial Supply, Inc is looking for a Route Driver w/ CDL A and Hazmat Endorsements to join our team! As a Route Driver, you're more than just a driver, you're the face of our company. You will be responsible for safely delivering gas cylinders and welding supplies to our valued customers, managing your route efficiently, and supporting truck sales through direct interaction with clients.
This position is ideal for someone who is self-motivated, energetic, and customer-focused. You must be capable of building and maintaining strong relationships with our long-standing customers while also identifying opportunities for sales directly from the truck. Your ability to represent our brand with professionalism, courtesy, and reliability is critical to our continued success.
This is a hands-on role requiring versatility; from daily route driving and hot shot deliveries to warehouse support and occasional fill-in routes. If you enjoy a dynamic environment with a variety of responsibilities and direct customer interaction, we want you on our team.

Responsibilities

  • Minimum 1 year of route driving experience preferred
  • Deliver a variety of items to multiple addresses and along various routes
  • Maintain existing customer relationships and foster new ones through excellent service and on-site truck sales
  • Follow route schedules, load and unload products, and inspect delivery vehicle daily
  • Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely
