Route Driver
We are seeking a reliable and professional Route Driver to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring timely delivery of units to our customers while maintaining excellent service standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver units to designated locations according to scheduled routes
- Load and unload units, ensuring accuracy and proper handling
- Verify delivery orders and documents deliveries in Trace2
- Service portable restrooms, holding tanks, sinks, and trailers in accordance with company standards
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure safe transportation
- Communicate effectively with dispatcher and customers regarding delivery status and any issues
- Perform routine vehicle safety inspections and report any maintenance needs
- Flexibility to work weekends as business needs require
Requirements
Education and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Minimum of one (1) year of commercial driving experience preferred
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL license preferred, but not required
- Must meet all Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements, including successful completion of a drug and alcohol screening and medical examination
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check, in accordance with applicable laws
