Title: Junior Field Engineer

Reports to: Operations Manager and to the PM/QC Managers while on the job site.

Position: Full time

Schedule: Based on project requirements; Typically, a rotational schedule

Location: Candidates must be willing to travel (relocation not required)

Job Summary:

The Junior Field Engineer supports the successful delivery of complex deep foundation projects by planning, organizing, and overseeing all technical elements of the work. This role ensures projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with Bauer Foundation Corp.’s values of appreciation, innovation, responsibility, and staying down-to-earth. The Field Engineer actively contributes to technical project work, quality control, and continuous improvement initiatives.


Supervisory Responsibilities:

• None


Responsibilities of this Position:

• Manage preparation of engineering plans, drawings, and construction details throughout the project lifecycle

• Prepare and meet deadlines for completion of assigned work

• Monitor field conditions to confirm alignment with design and project expectations

• Develop and maintain accurate QC documentation and reports

• Prepare daily activity reports, weekly cost analyses, and project closeout documentation

• Coordinate resources to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards

• Identify, anticipate, and resolve technical and operational challenges

• Maintain consistent follow-up to ensure successful project completion

• Champion safe practices across all project activities


Requirements

Qualifications and Requirements:

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; preference for specialization in geotechnical, structural, or construction fields

• Two (2) years of experience on geotechnical/foundation projects, preferably involving cutoff walls or soil mixing technologies
