Physician Assistant - DHK Ambulatory Surgery - Full time / Rotational - Cornell Campus

Practice the art and science of evidence-based medicine at New York-Presbyterian Hospital. Lead the charge in improving the patient care experience. Join an action-oriented team at an Ivy League medical center and go to the next level in your PA career. Here, you'll experience a wide variety of cases, ranging from adult inpatients requiring pre- and post-operative care to general acute care and specialty services. Together, we use our brains and hearts to provide the highest level of care imaginable. In the process, experience all the reasons we entered our noble field. Our case mix index is one of the highest, yet our measured outcomes are among the best in the nation.

The PA will be responsible for all preoperative and postoperative work within the Ambulatory Surgery and Interventional Radiology space. There may be opportunity to first or second assist in the operating room as well. The position includes coverage for multi surgical specialties including:

General surgery

Urology

ENT

Ophthalmology

Breast surgery

Podiatry

GYN

Orthopedics

Plastic surgery

Spine surgery

Robotic surgery

Interventional Radiology

This position involves four 10-hour shifts per week, scheduled Monday through Friday, with hours from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 10:30 AM to 8:00 PM.

Required Criteria

  • Graduate of an accredited PA program

  • Current NYS PA licensure

  • NCCPA certification

  • DEA Certification

  • BLS/ACLS/PALS certification
