The Opportunity
The Finance Rotation Development Program provides the opportunity for high potential future leaders to gain exposure to functions that are critical to the Finance organization at Genentech. This is accomplished over a number of rotational assignments in the following areas: Commercial Finance, Technical Operations Finance, R&D Finance, and Controlling & Accounting. FRDP participants may have an opportunity to conduct a rotational assignment in Basel, Switzerland.

  • These rotational assignments are designed to provide new hires with challenging assignments
  • Developed to provide training in both technical and leadership areas.
  • The goal of the program is to develop highly talented future finance leaders within the company.
  • Genentech will support the participant's career development.

Who You Are:

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Education: Graduate Degree in Business Administration
  • 4-6 years of work experience prior to graduate school in finance, consulting, or drug development preferred
  • Prior work experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industries preferred
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Proven ability and experience in effectively interacting with executives and senior leaders
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

The global grade for this position is SE6

Relocation benefits are available for this position.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of California of $116,800 to $216,80. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
