Job description

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Responsible for supporting, optimizing, and enhancing the organization's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) ecosystem. Focuses heavily on data integrations, workflow automation, system configuration, cross-platform connectivity, and vendor liaison communications to ensure seamless and efficient business operations. Primary technical resource for HR, Finance, and Supply Chain Management ERP activities.

PRINCIPAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1. *Commits to the mission, vision, beliefs and consistently demonstrates our core values.

2. *Provides application and technical support services including systems implementation, upgrades, new version rollouts and optimization, analysis, design, build, configuration, administration, testing and go-live support.

3. *Creates, administers and analyzes security roles, classes and groups assigning security levels as appropriate.

4. *Designs, implements, and maintains integrations between the ERP system and third-party applications using APIs, web services (REST/SOAP), Active Batch, and Workday Studio.

5. *Builds and monitors ETL/ELT pipelines to work with key interface formats (EDI, XML, Flat File), protocols (TCP/IP, FTP).

6. *Ensures data accuracy and consistency across systems through validation routines, audit scripts, and automated sync processes.

7. *Prepares technical reports for security and auditing purposes; collaborates with auditors, IT security staff and IT managers to ensure system security.

8. *Identifies and translates user requests into functional specifications with minimal customization efforts; troubleshoots issues within a highly integrated ERP environment.

9. *Supports interdependencies between financial, human resources and materials management modules/systems; designs and configures systems to ensure the smooth and accurate flow of data.

10. *Responds promptly to user questions and provides support, training and intervention actions as needed.

11. *Maintains and modifies databases; creates, maintains and distributes reports.

12. Regularly communicates with super-users any changes, developments or planned updates to the system; provides training and reference website resources as appropriate.

13. Enters restricted access areas, without supervision, to perform assigned work.

14. Maintains professional growth and development through seminars, workshops, and professional affiliations to keep abreast of latest trends in field of expertise.

15. Participates in meetings, committees and department projects as assigned.

16. Performs other related projects and duties as assigned.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

1. Maintains competency in one or more ERP systems (e.g., Workday, Infor, SAP, Oracle ERP Cloud).

2. Knowledge of AI-driven ERP enhancements (chatbots, agents, predictive workflows).

3. Knowledge of SQL skills (queries, stored procedures, optimization).

4. Knowledge of API integrations, REST/SOAP protocols, and data transformation.

5. Knowledge of workflow automation and scripting (e.g., JavaScript, Python, PowerShell).

6. Knowledge of BI/reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SSRS).

7. Knowledge of JSON, XML, XSLT, and integration mapping.

8. Knowledge of version control (Git) and change management processes.

9. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

10. Ability to perform crucial conversations with desired outcomes.

11. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of personnel and medical staff.

12. Ability to problem solve and engage independent critical thinking skills.

13. Ability to maintain confidentiality relevant to sensitive information.

14. Ability to prioritize work demands and work with minimal supervision.

15. Ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field required. May substitute with four (4) or more years of direct ERP systems experience. Minimum of three (3) years of experience working with ERP systems preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
