Job description

The ERP Applications Manager provides technical leadership for the organization's enterprise systems, including Oracle ERP and UKG Workforce Pro (Kronos). This role is accountable for system performance, integration, reliability, and overall system health.ย 

The role operates within a hybrid support model:ย 

Oracle ERP is supported through a decentralized structure, with functional analysts embedded in Finance, HR, and Supply Chainย 

UKG Workforce Pro is centrally managed within this teamย 

This position directly manages Technical Analysts and is responsible for the technical success of both platforms. For ERP, the role supports and facilitates governance processes, decision-making, work intake, prioritization, and cross-functional coordination, ensuring standardized processes and system integrity across departments. For UKG, the role maintains full ownership of system configuration, support, and associated hardware.ย 

Education & Experienceย 

  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, Business, Finance, HR, or related fieldย requiredย 
  • Master's degree preferredย 
  • 7+ years of ERP system experience (Oracle, Kronos, or similar)ย 
  • 2-3+ years of leadership or team management experienceย requiredย 
  • Experience in healthcare or integrated enterprise systems preferredย 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilitiesย 

  • Strong understanding of ERP systems including HCM, Finance, and Supply Chain processesย 
  • Knowledge of cloud-based enterprise applicationsย 
  • Ability to lead cross-functional collaboration and influence decision-makingย 
  • Strong communicationย skills with technical and non-technical stakeholdersย 
  • Understanding of data structures, integrations, and system workflowsย 
  • Experience with reporting and data extraction tools (SQL preferred)ย 
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environmentย 
  • Knowledge of healthcare operations and regulatory considerations preferredย 
  • Understanding of project management principlesย 

Key Responsibilitiesย 

  • Technical Leadership & System Healthย 
    • Own system performance, reliability, integrations, and data integrity across ERP and UKG platforms ย 
    • Lead release management, testing, and deploymentsย 
    • Ensure system monitoring, issue resolution, and proactive maintenanceย 
    • Coordinate system patching, vulnerability remediation, and maintenance activities across ERP and UKG environments to ensure security, stability, and complianceย 
    • Support disaster recovery planning, testing, and recovery activities for ERP and UKG platformsย 
    • Communicate project status, system risks, operational issues, and recommendations to leadership and key stakeholdersย 
    • Serve as the senior technical analyst for Oracle ERP, providing advanced troubleshooting, technical analysis, solution recommendations, and escalation support for complex system, integration, and performance issuesย 
  • Team Leadershipย 
    • Directly lead and develop Technical Analystsย 
    • Assign, manage, and oversee technical resources across operational support, maintenance, and project initiatives to ensure timely delivery and alignment with organizational priorities
  • ERP (Oracle) - Decentralized Modelย 
    • Support and facilitate ERP governance processes, including work intake, prioritization, cross-functional coordination, and governance committee activitiesย 
    • Partner with Finance, HR, Supply Chain, and ERP leadership to promote standardized processes and system integrityย 
    • Coordinate with functional analysts, technical teams, and business stakeholders to resolve cross-functional impacts, maintain system integrity, and support process improvement effortsย 
  • UKG Workforce Pro (Kronos) - Centralized Ownershipย 
    • Own end-to-end UKG system configuration, support, and optimizationย 
    • Oversee timekeeping hardware (clocks/badging devices), including uptime, connectivity, and lifecycle managementย 
    • Serve as primary escalation point for UKG system and hardware issuesย 
  • Projects & Delivery
    • Lead ERP and UKG-related initiatives, ensuring alignment with priorities, timelines, and technical standards
  • Additional Duties
