Job description

Summary:
The Restaurant Server will provide outstanding guest service by serving food and beverage to restaurant guests, pre-setting the restaurant, maintaining side workstations, clearing tables during and after each meal, and properly storing equipment at the end of each shift. They will courteously handle all guest requests based on Company Standards to ensure a pleasant dining experience.
Responsibilities:
  • Greet and seat guests in a professional manner.
  • Present menus, answer questions, make recommendations and upsell items.
  • Take and deliver food and beverage orders, ensuring proper presentation.
  • Anticipate and address guests' needs throughout their dining experience.
  • Handle guest payments by providing accurate change or processing credit card transactions through POS system.
  • Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth communication and order delivery.
  • Ensure tables are cleared and reset efficiently for the next guests.
  • Keeping work areas, dining tables, and overall restaurant spaces clean and presentable.
  • Stock supplies as necessary.
  • Open and close the restaurant efficiently and accurately.
  • Provide menu recommendations and upsell items.
  • Clear tables and assist with guest requests.
