POSITION SUMMARY
Roselle Park School District is seeking dedicated, enthusiastic, and compassionate individuals to join our team as Paraprofessionals to support students in achieving academic and social success. Paraprofessionals work alongside teachers to provide instructional, behavioral, and personal support in inclusive and special education settings.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (college credits or Praxis preferred)
  • Experience working with children a plus
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Experience supporting student health and safety needs under staff guidance a plus.
  • Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.
  • Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accomodation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

SALARY: $19.61 per hour - $20.81 per hour
Hours per week to be determined by final assignment.
Final salary commensurate with experience and in accordance with the Roselle Park Education Association's collectively bargained agreement.
BENEFITS: Position is part-time, non-benefits eligible.
Paid sick, personal, and bereavement allotments in accordance with the Roselle Park Education Association's collectively bargained agreement.
Participation in NJ Division of Pensions & Benefits DCRP Retirement System.
