Roseland Community Hospital has served Chicago’s far South Side communities for nearly 100 years, providing comprehensive, high-quality healthcare since opening in 1924. Despite decades of social, economic, and political change, the hospital has remained committed to improving the health and well-being of residents in Roseland and surrounding neighborhoods.


Job Highlights
  • Conduct patient assessments, monitor clinical status, and develop individualized nursing diagnoses and care plans
  • Deliver patient-centered nursing care including medication administration, therapeutic interventions, behavioral support, and emergency response
  • Evaluate patient progress, revise treatment plans, and coordinate discharge planning and post-acute care resources
  • Document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes accurately while communicating updates across interdisciplinary teams
  • Educate patients and families, support transition planning, and uphold safety, ethical, and regulatory standards while participating in leadership and quality improvement activities

Candidate Profile
  • 2–5 years of clinical experience in an acute or ambulatory healthcare setting and experience in clinical performance review required
  • Active Illinois RN license in good standing required; BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC (or equivalent), and CPI certifications required
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance, accreditation standards, patient safety systems, infection prevention, and clinical documentation review
  • Experience with incident reporting, regulatory reporting, policy development, education, and compliance monitoring
