Job description

Open Positions: Part Time


What will you get to do as an In-Home Caregiver at St. Paul Elder Services?

  • Enhance our St. Paul at Home Team by making regularly scheduled visits to clients who are still residing in their homes or in assisted living facilities.
  • Help clients with personal hygiene and provide ADL support as well as other needs identified on the client care card.
  • Help clients with ambulation, transferring, positioning, and range of motion.
  • Provide verbal reminders to clients for self-administration of medications.
  • Perform housekeeping duties such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, changing linen, washing dishes, emptying trash receptacles, pet care, etc.
  • Prepare light meals and/or snacks.
  • Provide companionship care to clients such as visiting, reading, and/or engaging in other favorite pastimes.
  • Prepare and maintain records of client progress and services performed, reporting changes in client condition to the Community Services Coordinator.
  • Provide bathing services to Club Gabriel members and community clients.
  • Develop and maintain positive rapport with team members, clients, and their families.
