  • BSA Hospital is a 445-bed hospital serving the Amarillo area for over 120 years and continues to be Amarillo's preferred healthcare provider. At BSA, our mission is to provide quality healthcare in Christian love, service and dignity.

Responsibilities
  • The MRI Radiology Clinical Intern assists with department operations under the direct supervision of a registered and licensed Radiologic Technologist.
  • Responsibilities include supporting patient preparation and positioning for MRI procedures, preparing and resetting exam rooms, stocking and organizing equipment and supplies, and assisting with workflow as needed.
  • The intern is expected to demonstrate excellent customer service, professionalism, and a patient-centered approach at all times, as well as the flexibility to adapt to fluctuating patient volumes and departmental needs.
  • While functioning as an employee of the Diagnostic Imaging Department, the Radiology Clinical Intern must not perform any radiation exposures, in accordance with the Texas Board of Medical Radiologic Technology requirements.

Qualifications
Job Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Must be currently enrolled and in an accredited Radiography Program, with an anticipated completion date as outlined in the radiography program.
  • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
