Job description

We are currently recruiting for a Project Manager for a Zoom implementation (CONTRACT ROLE). Our client is a global leader in video collaboration and customer AV. Zoom Project Manager's main responsibility will be to manage the end to end project and ensure client satisfaction. 

Essential Functions:

  • Project Delivery - The Project Manager shall ensure that the project delivers the agreed solution, remains within the baseline budget, and is delivered on time while achieving quality criteria and maintaining client satisfaction. This individual shall manage the delivery of the project according to the PMI knowledge areas. This includes rigorous project scope control and management of change variations. They will also communicate with key stakeholders regarding the status of their projects. Project set-up, resources, and operations are efficiently managed, possibly with the assistance of the Project Coordinator or Administrator.
  • Client Satisfaction - The Project Manager will manage client satisfaction and expectations and manages escalations adequately. They shall act as the single point of contact with the client whilst being accountable for all escalations relating to the project.
  • Team Management - The Project Manager needs to be able to lead teams effectively within a matrixed and remote environment. They shall act as people managers and provide feedback to the relevant line managers. The Project Manager ensures that the project team has access to the project management tools and has the general means to perform their role. They shall also coach and mentor project team members and colleagues.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Leads and directs concurrent standard or complex projects.
  • Engage with stakeholders to take projects from the original concept through final implementation.
  • Provide customer support by working with customer teams to scope and cost the specified solution.
  • Ensure that the project delivers the as-sold solution, remains within the baseline budget, and is delivered on time whilst maintaining quality criteria and client satisfaction.
  • Manage the delivery of the project, including rigorous scope control and change management.
  • Ensure client satisfaction and manage escalations, acting as a single point of contact to the client.

Requirements: Education, Training, and Experience

  • Project Management Certification will be plus
  • Minimum 7 years of experience within a project delivery environment
  • Minimum of 5 Years of project management experience, as a Project Manager,  preferably managing Zoom or Teams or other similar Video Conferencing tools implementations. 
  • Willingness to travel to client locations

Skills and knowledge:

  • Knowledge and understanding of the Video Conferencing tools such as Zoom, Zoom Rooms, Zoom Phones etc.
  • Demonstrate adequate team leadership, motivation ability, and business acumen
  • Good understanding of, responsibility for, and ability in all aspects of the full project life-cycle.
