Were seeking a Production Associate who's ready to be part of an innovative, people-first brand shaping the future of the roofing industry.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Duro-Last Roofing is the world's largest manufacturer of prefabricated roofing systems, has openings for a Production Associates.Tip Top Screw and Oscoda Plastics are established manufacturing companies based in Oscoda, Michigan, and are part of the Duro-Last umbrella.
Tip Top Screw specializes in producing high-quality fasteners for construction and industrial applications, while Oscoda Plastics manufactures durable recycled-vinyl products such as commercial flooring, roofing accessories, and concrete expansion joints. Together, we are committed to quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement, and we are seeking a motivated individual to join our team. The ideal candidate will be based in the Oscoda area and would be available at one of the following shifts listed below. This is a full-time, hourly position with eligibility for a safety bonus.
CURRENT SHIFTS & OPENINGS:
TIP-TOP Screw
1st Shift: 5:00AM- 3:30PM (M-F)
2nd Shift: 3:30PM- 2:00AM (M-F)
Oscoda Plastics
A Shift: 6AM-6:30PM (Monday-Thursday)
B Shift: 6PM-6:30AM (Monday-Thursday)
C Shift: 6AM-6:30PM (Friday-Sunday)
D Shift: 6PM-6:30AM (Friday-Sunday)
WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
  • Assist fellow team members in making a high-quality product, free of defects, to fulfill customers' needs and expectations
  • While working with a qualified trainer, learn all the basic level tasks including how to operate all machines, (shredder cell, cut-down, roof-tac welding, mixing, roll-cutting, heat treat, etc.) and all procedures
  • Accurately complete all required production paperwork
  • Keep work area clean and neat to ensure there are no safety hazards and that the area is presentable for guests
  • All other duties as assigned

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • High School Diploma or GED is required
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Able to work in a team and have initiative to get the job done
  • Must be able to pass a pre-hire drug screen, physical, and background check
  • Bend, push, carry, lift up to 50 pounds
  • Available to work up to a 12-hour shift and weekends when necessary
  • Must be available to work any shift
  • Previous manufacturing experience is highly desired

Additional Requirements:
  • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit test.
