We are now seeking a motivated Commercial Roofing Supervisor to join our RoofOne Detroit Market Location.

Job Overview

If you are an experienced professional ready to step into a hands-on leadership role, RoofOne is hiring a Commercial Roofing Supervisor to lead crews, drive production, and deliver exceptional results across commercial roofing projects. This is an on-site position with local travel to job sites using a company-provided vehicle, offering the opportunity to build a long-term career in roofing while making a direct impact in the field. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead daily job site operations for commercial roofing projects, ensuring efficiency and quality

  • Lead and coordinate crews to complete roofing installations and repairs safely and on schedule

  • Lead safety initiatives and enforce OSHA and company safety standards across all roofing activities

  • Conduct site inspections and maintain quality control on all commercial roofing work

  • Lead communication between field teams, management, and customers to ensure strong customer service

  • Lead performance through coaching, accountability, and team development

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of commercial roofing experience

  • 1–2 years of leadership experience with the ability to lead teams effectively

  • Knowledge of low-slope roofing systems

  • Ability to climb ladders and work at heights safely

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen

  • Strong communication skills and a commitment to customer service

Work Environment

  • This position primarily involves working in the field at work sites

  • Must be able to work in varied weather conditions and in a physically demanding environment.

  • Must be able to occasionally lift and carry 50 lbs. 

  • Ability to climb ladders to determine work needs

Driving

  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain an acceptable driving record that meets company and insurance requirements to travel to and from work sites.
