Roofing Specialists manage all leads through the inspection and analyzation of roofing systems, and the subsequent development of a customized system for each property. This includes generating leads through personal relationships and networks (Linked In, IG, FB, and other social media applications). The Roofing Specialist abides by all Schoenherr Roofing standards as it pertains to building customer relationships, educating the property owner, providing estimates, following up on every lead, and securing the contract. The Roofing Specialist (RS) is a sales professional motivated to maintain an expert level of understanding of market conditions, discovering consumer needs, roofing products, applications, code, and warranties. The RS ensures that Schoenherr Roofings mission, vision, and values are being effectively achieved.

Responsibilities

PROVIDE THE SCHOENHERR ROOFING 5-STAR CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE

Committed to giving our customers the best experience they have ever had, or ever will have, working with a home improvement company by building trust, exceeding customer expectations, and demonstrating the core values from the first to the last contact.

Assessing Roofing Needs Follow up on all leads by providing an on-site inspection of each potential customers roofing system. Communicate findings to the property owner or manager and follow up with a customized plan in accordance with all Roofing Specialist Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). This also involves providing all required photos of the property (ground, rooftop, attic, etc.).


Provide Estimates and Secure Projects Create work diagrams for each potential project including any necessary blueprints that detail the scope of the work. Develop and present professional project estimates to the customer that include all resources, materials, costs, and expectations. Complete all documents related to financial plans, financing, and down payments. Set communication expectations for the customer so they know what to expect as the project moves forward. Assure that every project is fully aligned with the cost structure established by Schoenherr Roofing.


Customer Follow Up

Presale: When presentations with potential customers are completed, the roofing specialist will persistently follow up with each customer until the job has been secured for Schoenherr Roofing, or another company has been selected. Utilize all mediums (emails, text messages, phone calls, on-site conversations, etc.) and enter all follow up communications into Job Nimbus.

Post sale: Generate new business around every signed contract by soliciting referrals and canvassing the neighborhood (minimum 20 homes).

Post Completion: Once the project has been completed by the production team, the Roofing Specialist will contact the customer to assure their 100% complete satisfaction and again pursue referrals.



Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelors degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven history of performance in sales, preferably within the roofing or construction industry.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • The ability to work independently.
  • Proficient in using CRM software (Job Nimbus) and other sales tools.
  • Valid drivers license. Clean driving record preferred.
  • Strong written and communication skills with a passion for serving people.
  • Exceptional follow up and follow through skills.
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organized and attentive to detail.
  • Ability to work across numerous teams and departments.
  • Working knowledge of technological tools and ability to utilize various software systems.
