Brake Press Operator Needed!
Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Brake Press Operator to join our team. This role is responsible for setting up and operating press brake equipment to bend, shape, and form metal components according to specifications. Candidates must be able to read blueprints, follow work instructions, and ensure high-quality production while maintaining safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
• Set up and operate press brake machines according to job specifications
• Enter and manage data in brake press computer systems
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and bills of materials
• Perform machine start-up and shut-down procedures properly
• Measure and inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and rulers
• Calculate basic math formulas using U.S. and metric measurements
• Adjust machine settings, speeds, and tooling as needed
• Install and align punches, dies, and other tooling components
• Monitor machine operation and record production data accurately
• Operate forklifts and overhead/jib cranes to move materials
• Maintain equipment through cleaning and lubrication
• Keep work area clean and organized
• Ensure all work meets quality standards and specifications

Qualifications
• Previous experience operating press brake or similar machinery
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specs, and work instructions
• Strong understanding of tolerances and part measurements
• Experience using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.)
• Ability to perform basic math calculations (U.S. and metric)
• Forklift experience required
• Overhead/jib crane experience required
• Strong attention to detail and ability to monitor machine operation closely
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Preferred Qualifications
