Okie Staffing is hiring a skilled Sheet Metal Technician / Brake Operator to join a growing production team. If you have experience with press brakes, rolling equipment, and reading blueprints—we want to hear from you.

Requirements

What You’ll Do
  • Operate press brakes and rolling equipment to produce sheet metal components
  • Perform tooling setup and adjustments on brake machines
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
  • Measure and verify parts using calipers and precision tools
  • Assist with shear operations and material prep as needed
  • Maintain quality standards and follow all safety procedures
  • Experience operating press brakes and/or roll machines
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
  • Familiarity with calipers and measuring tools
  • Basic understanding of sheet metal bending and forming processes
  • Basic math skills (fractions, measurements, conversions)
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
  • Prior experience in brake forming and rolling
  • Technical school or vocational training in fabrication or machining
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing / shop environment
