Job description

The Robot Technician plays a key role in refurbishing industrial robots, primarily Fanuc models, by performing mechanical disassembly, electrical repairs, and programming assistance. This position involves hands-on refurbishment tasks, troubleshooting diagnostics, and preparing robots for customer deployment. The role requires a strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, attention to safety compliance, and occasional travel to assist with on-site customer installations.

Responsibilities

  • Refurbish pre-owned Fanuc industrial robots
  • Disassemble and repair mechanical arms and electrical controllers
  • Clean and assemble robot components, preparing for final painting
  • Assist in robot programming and diagnostic troubleshooting
  • Handle materials, including loading and unloading equipment
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment following safety protocols
  • Operate company vehicles for errands and material pickups as needed
  • Support customer installations with occasional travel
