We are seeking a highly motivated, self-starting Regional Sales Manager to be located in the Alberta, Canada area.

•    Comprehensive knowledge/understanding of energy and heavy-duty industrial automation sectors would be an asset.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
•    Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve growth and revenue objectives across western Canada.
•    Cultivate and maintain relationships with local business partners, key stakeholders and high-value accounts.
•    Prepare and conduct monthly/quarterly performance updates and reports.
•    Provide on-site product information and design/engineer assistance, as well as demonstrations and recommendations with regards to products by HEIDENHAIN.

REQUIREMENTS:
•    5+ years of relevant industry experience in technical sales, business development, or account management
•    Advanced problem solving and analytical skills, with a strong attention to detail.
•    Ability to work independently and manage a geographically diverse territory
•    Experience taking proactive action to resolve hurdles and align internal resources with meet customer needs.
•    Technical Degree preferred, but not required
•    Valid Driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively (40-60%) throughout Western Canada and occasionally international
