As a member of the production department, the Robotics Operator I, will be responsible for a variety of duties that relate to monitoring and operating the automatic palletizing equipment. This position requires the ability to effectively communicate with the operations supervisor or manager.


Pay: $18.00 an hour

Hours: 5:00 pm - 5:00 am

Schedule: Monday - Friday

(Potential of 7 day weeks)

Location: Fresno, CA

Travel Requirements: None

Work Environment: Production


Core Responsibilities:

  • Operate in a safe manner by following all established safety policy and procedures.
  • Follow all Food Safety rules/regulations.  This is to include all Plant Rules and Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Execute company SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
  • Report any quality issues or equipment defects to the production supervisor.
  • Operate a console that controls automatic palletizing conveyors, transfers, lift tables, etc.
  • Operate console that controls automatic stretch wrapping equipment.
  • Read production schedules to determine sorting and transfer arrangement of packages on pallets and stacking patterns.
  • Ensure that all pallets whether full or not are labeled prior to the stretch wrapper.
  • Observe packages moving along conveyor to identify packages and detect defective packaging.
  • Stop equipment to clear jams safely and efficiently.
  • Inform supervisors and maintenance of equipment malfunctions.
  • Communicates with forklift drivers to ensure that the conveyors do not fill and stop the lines.
  • Maintain a food safe environment, complying with company policies, GMPs, and FDA/USDA regulations.
  • Must be able to work in a production environment while continuously performing above essential job functions.
  • Perform other relevant duties as assigned by the production supervisor
  • Work within a team environment to share information and help others as needed.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Strong Mechanical Aptitude and Quality Mindset.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years' experience in warehousing/manufacturing within related fields.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bilingual - English/Spanish preferred but not mandatory.
