Job Summary:

As a Robot Operator in the Folding Guard division, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining robotic equipment used in the production of safety and security systems, including wire mesh partitions, safety railings, and storage solutions. Your role is crucial in ensuring smooth, efficient, and high-quality production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate robotic machinery and equipment, performing tasks such as loading materials, program setting, and execution of operational sequences. Conduct regular maintenance checks and basic troubleshooting to ensure equipment is in optimal working condition.
  • Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards. Identify and report any product defects or machinery malfunctions to the supervisor.
  • Strictly adhere to workplace safety protocols and guidelines, including the proper use of safety gear and emergency procedures. Ensure that the robotic equipment is operated in a safe manner to prevent accidents.
  • Maintain accurate records of production data, including quantities, times, and any issues encountered. Assist in the preparation of reports on production performance and machine efficiency.
  • Work closely with other team members, including engineers, technicians, and production staff, to optimize production processes. Communicate effectively with the team to ensure smooth operations.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in robotic technology relevant to the Folding Guard division. Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in robotics or related field is a plus.
  • Previous experience in operating robotic machinery, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and manuals.

  • Willingness to work in shifts and flexible hours if required.
