Job description

Role: Robotics Specialist Location: Orlando, FL 32953 Pay Range: $30-$33/hr. Why is this open? One of Collaberaโ€™s cutting-edge robotics clients is undergoing an expansion to enable 24/7 robotic automation to support one of their clients now scaling a brand-new team. This is a rare opportunity to be part of the first wave of Robotics Specialists shaping how collaborative robots integrate into real-time logistics. Mission Statement: Support Client's mission to streamline logistics operations using robotics. Robotics Specialists will act as on-the-floor chaperones ensuring safe, accurate, and efficient robot navigation throughout the warehouse. They will be great communicators and relay when operations are down, or need to be escalated. Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Monitor robots on warehouse floor; provide corrections if they go off path Use tablets and Logitech controllers (like gaming joysticks) to guide robots Perform light troubleshooting, input tasks, and error resolution Walk alongside robots ~95% of the time during shift Self-manage tasks with minimal supervision Prepare and reset robots between tasks as needed Adhere to all on-site safety requirements (vest, steel-toed boots) Must Have: Previous robotics experience (1+ year) Comfortable with tablets, smartphones, and general technology Able to walk for most of the shift (95% of shift on feet) Self-starter who does not require micromanagement โ€“ thrive in limited supervision Must own or purchase steel/composite-toe boots The Company offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements: medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, life insurance, long-term disability insurance, short-term disability insurance, paid parking/public transportation, paid time off, paid sick and safe time, hours of paid vacation time, weeks of paid parental leave, and paid holidays annually โ€“ as applicable.
