What we need

Symboticisseekinga highly organized and detail-orientedSupply ChainProject Planner to join our team. This role is a key driver in ensuring thetimelyavailability of materials needed for our ongoing projects, while also transforming our project reporting standards. The ideal candidate will work closely with procurement, project managers, and other stakeholders to streamline material planning and enhance operational efficiency.

What we do

The Production Control team manages project-based planning and material execution for complex, customer-specific automation systems. This group oversees material coordination, supply execution, andlogisticsalignment to ensure materials and equipment are available when and where needed to support installation and commissioning. Production Control works closely with other Supply Chain teams, including Sourcing, Procurement, and Supplier partners, to align demand, supply, and execution across large-scale customer projects.

Whatyou'lldo

  • Develop andmaintainproject material plans; driving our Supplier Follow Up team to ensure materials are available at project sites for installation.

  • Serve assinglepoint of contact for project material escalations; coordinate involved parties to deliver to site needs.

  • Manage project through key planning milestones: Ensuring all items required for project are ordered and deliveries on track to progress on keySymbotictimelines.

  • Maintain Project Tracking tools, ensuring validity ofdataand driving improved reporting on project performancethrough use of Excel.

  • Support new projects by creating material allocation reports to ensure all materials areonorder.

  • Effectively summarize project performance andanticipatedshortfalls to Executive levelstakeholders;must have a demonstrated ability to tailor communication to specific stakeholder needs.

  • Drive project progress through developing improved KPIs and project performance signals to catch shortfalls prior to site impact.

Whatyou'llneed

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, ora relatedfield.

  • Minimum of5years of experience in project planning; material planning experience is critical.

  • Experience in supply chain project management or process improvement initiatives.

  • Certification in supply chain management (e.g., APICS, CPIM) is a plus.

  • Advanced Excelexperience isa must-(Pivot tables/charts,LOOKUP, Macros & VBA).

  • Must havedemonstratedcomfort providing information and updates to Director/VP level stakeholders.

  • Strong understanding of material planning principles and inventory management.

  • Strong knowledge of supply chain processes.

  • Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to develop and implement efficient processes.

  • Proficiencyin SAP and other supply chain management tools.

  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to planning.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Our Environment

  • Up to20% of travel may berequired. Employees must have a valid driver's license and the ability to drive and/or fly to client and other customer locations.

  • The employeeis responsible forowning a credit card and managing expenses personally to be reimbursed on a bi-weekly basis.

The base range for this position in the posted location is $87,000.00 - $119,900.00 however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package includes medical, dental, vision, disability, 401K, PTO and/or other benefits.
