Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Developer

Langley AFB, VA Pay From: $150,000 per year

MUST:

  • Experienced Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Developer
  • Active Secret or Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility (Must be eligible for TS/sci)
  • 3+ years of hands on experience developing and deploying RPA solutions (preferably in the DoD space)
  • Strong Power platform experience including Power Apps, Power BI integration
  • Proven track record delivering operational RPA bots from discovery through production deployment
  • Proficiency with UiPath Studio, Orchestrator, and Automation Cloud
  • Experience with iterative development methodologies and user-centered design
  • Experience with API integration, database connectivity, and data transformation
  • Knowledge of bot exception handling, logging, and error recovery patterns
  • Familiarity with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines for RPA deployments
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
  • Current Security+ce or higher IAT level II certification (required)
  • UiPath Certified RPA Associate (required)
  • Microsoft Power Automate certification (required)
  • DUTIES:

    The ideal candidate will support AirForce client supporting designs, prototypes, and deploys automation solutions for operational mission. Work with the client staff to identifying automation opportunities, building working prototypes in 2โ€“4-week cycles, and transitioning validated solutions into daily operations with complete documentation that enables Government personnel to sustain them independently.

    Delivery expectation / Client goals: These are baseline expectations derived from the client based on proven RPA delivery model at other military organizations. Target is a minimum of 3 prototypes per quarter (functional bots validated by users in test environments). Minimum 2 operational transitions per quarter (bots accepted by COR and integrated into daily operations with full documentation). 2-4 week prototyping cycles per solution (from discovery kickoff to user-testable bot). Provide 100% documentation compliance (every transition solution includes technical specs, user training, SOPs, and sustainment plan). Conduct 2-3 iterative refinement cycles with operational users before transitioning solutions. Test bots across appropriate classification levels (NIPRNet, SIPRNet, AFSCI as assigned). Deliver complete technical documentation including architecture diagrams, configuration details, and data flow specifications. Provide all source code, configuration files, and integration specifications to the Government. Conduct knowledge transfer sessions with Government personnel who will sustain the solution.
