JOB TITLE: RPA Developer

LOCATION: Austin, TX (Hybrid)

DURATION: 6 Months + Extension

JOB DESCRIPTION/MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: ERS is seeking an experienced RPA Developer with a minimum of three years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and implementing Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of RPA tools and frameworks, as well as the ability to analyze processes for automation potential. Work involves project planning and coordination; analyzing user requirements, procedures and problems to automate processing or to improve existing systems; systems integration; and giving technical assistance to programming personnel. Works under limited to minimal supervision of the Build Team Leader and Software Engineering Manager, with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Essential Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:  

  • Design and Develop RPA Solutions: Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and create RPA solutions using tools such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Blue Prism.
  • Process Analysis: Analyze existing business processes to determine automation feasibility and develop comprehensive documentation.
  • Testing and Debugging: Conduct thorough testing and debugging of RPA workflows to ensure optimal performance and compliance with specifications.
  • Deployment and Maintenance: Manage the deployment of RPA solutions, including monitoring and maintaining existing automations to ensure efficiency and reliability.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide technical support during the RPA development lifecycle.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in RPA technologies, recommending improvements and upgrades to existing solutions.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users and team members on RPA tools and best practices.

Required Minimum Qualifications:  Your application for employment must reflect how you meet each of the following minimum qualifications:

Graduation from an accredited technical high school program plus 2 years (60 semester hours) of accredited college course work or completion of an associate’s degree in computer information, computer science, management information systems, or a related field. Applicants without college course work or an associate’s degree may substitute 2 years of experience in application development to qualify. 

  • Minimum of three years of experience in RPA development, with a proven track record of successful project delivery 
  • Three years of experience with UiPath and experience with programming languages such as C#, .NET, or Python. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

Your application for employment should reflect how you meet the following preferred qualifications:

  • 3 Years’ Experience in Object Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD). 
  • 3 Years’ Experience using project configuration and software release tools (such Azure Devops or similar) and adhering to a Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). 
  • 3 Years’ Experience with code refactoring and code improvement.
