Robotic Welding Machine Operator - BWX Technologies, Inc. - Barberton, OH
We are currently seeking qualified applicants to fill a Robotic Welding Machine Operator position at our facility in Barberton, Ohio. The successful candidate will operate submerged arc welding, cladding machines and automatic and robotic (MotoMan and Gantry robots) metal inert gas equipment to produce quality welds. Identify and perform basic layout to determine clad limits. Responsible for using proper wire and flux for the job. Inspects welds, grinds and arc airs to remove defects. Attach preheat torches inside and outside and maintains proper preheat temperatures.
Job Qualifications / Requirements:
  • All applicants must successfully complete a pre-employment weld screen.
  • Must have the ability to read and understand blueprints
  • A minimum of two (2) years' welding experience or a combination of welding experience and formal training/education is preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED is required and graduation will be verified
  • Must be a citizen of the United States
  • Must be open and available to working ALL shifts
  • Must successfully complete a pre-employment physical, drug screen and background check

"2024" opportunity! Start date would not be prior to 1/1/2024.
The hourly rate for this position is up to $35.016 and is complimented by a very generous benefit package. Upon an offer, a relocation package is available for eligible candidates.
