Job description
FANUC America is hiring a Robot Gripper Design Technician at our Rochester Hills facility. You will design, build, and test end-of-arm tooling for warehouse picking and palletizing applications. Working in our applications lab, you will create CAD models, machine and assemble prototypes, test gripper performance, and support customers with custom EOAT solutions.
Requirements- 2+ years of mechanical design or EOAT fabrication experience
- SolidWorks or equivalent 3D CAD proficiency
- Machining skills (mill, lathe) or 3D printing for prototyping
- Understanding of vacuum and pneumatic gripper principles
- Experience testing grippers with robotic systems
