Manage in a highly effective way the productive and financial resources in all aspects of the operation, guaranteeing strict adherence to the budget properly managed through continuous improvement and thus have a positive impact on the SQDCM indicators.
- Responsible for the production related to a particular Business Unit technology (=unit)
- Ensures that products are produced on time, are of good quality, and meet or exceed all customer and company standards
- Enforces quality and delivery reliability
- Enforces a strong safety and environmental culture at the manufacturing site applying the respective regulations
- Ensures that planned KPI targets are met or exceeded
- Identifies and solves problems affecting production throughput, quality, or cost performance to optimize manpower and equipment efficiency and utilization
- Drives continuous improvement through implementation of BOSLE principles and best practices
- Initializes the implementation of technical innovations and is responsible for the project launch in the plant
- Enforces APQP practices, and other upfront engineering activities, to ensure good launches and disciplined engineering change performance
- Ensures that rigorous predictive and preventive maintenance practices are employed to increase efficiency and extend the useful life of capital equipment
- Maintains compliance with all corporate policies and relevant governmental regulations
- Supports/ advises sales and Business Units concerning technical inquiries
- Prepares and maintain production reports and personnel training/performance records
- Prepares budgets and approves expenditures for operating supplies, and human resources, to ensure that materials, labor and equipment are used efficiently to meet production targets in accordance with the harmonized organization structure.
- Promotes a respectful work environment and recruits, develops and retains human resources to maintain a qualified, motivated and productive workforce. Leads by example and lives up to Benteler's mission, values and global leadership principles. Uses standard HR tools e.g. the appraisal process to provide regular feedback and agree upon tasks and goals with respective employees
- Provides support to all activities assigned by the direct supervisor.
- Authorize expenses related to maintenance, production and process improvements.
- Authorize the extra time required for the assembly area.
- Maintain the number of employees in the area in accordance with the budget plan
